We are proud to announce that we’ll be partnering with Dementia Positive Pendle throughout 2025 to help raise awareness and provide much-needed support for the people of Pendle dealing with dementia.
Dementia is an illness affecting more and more people every year, and it’s crucial that businesses and individuals step in to support local groups and charities where possible. Stay tuned for more information on how we plan on raising a minimum of £10,000 and how you can help. Plenty of exciting events and challenges are on the horizon!

“At Dementia Positive Pendle, we’re on a mission to create a more inclusive and supportive community for those living with dementia, their families, and carers.
How do we do this?
• Raising awareness of dementia across Pendle
• Providing access to information and support
• Inspiring and coordinating meaningful community projects
We’re a passionate group of doers, including local health providers, social prescribers, Pendleside Hospice, Age UK, CVS Health, and dedicated volunteers. Our focus? Expanding group sessions across Pendle to offer more support and connection.
Some of our proudest achievements include:
• Organising highly successful Christmas & Summer social events
• Supporting local Dementia Groups
• Developing a Home Support Toolkit to assist families on their dementia journey
To continue making a difference, we need support—whether through funding, resources, or simply spreading the word. Contributions help us cover set-up costs, venues, transport, and outreach efforts.
